Apologies for once again missing a month. August was a complicated month, not least because my grandmother ended up in hospital (which I got the news about on the 1st), but things do seem to be getting better once more. With that out of the way I should be able to be a better mod here, and actually be able to keep up with things once more. How have things been for you?

Like so many months I've not done any writing for me, but again I think things may be looking up. (How many times have I said that? All I can really do is hope this time it will work out the way I want it to, rather than everything draining my creativity so much that writing any words is an impossibility.) If I've missed any bingos please let me know.

Sorry for disappearing for a couple of months. Life has been... hard. To be honest coming into July it's not much better, but I'm not going to talk too much about that here. :) Instead I'm going to focus on what I'm here for - new cards. Let me know if you do want a new card, and point me at any bingos you may have made in the time I was gone.

Happy Easter, everyone. Welcome to April. How have you all been? Has anyone got anything interesting written? I've had one of my usual months of not getting much done for me, due to the amount of work I have on right now, but hopefully that will be changing at some point in the next month. That really does depend on work though.

I should hopefully be getting the community cards up tomorrow, so be on the look out for them if you interested. :)

Sorry I'm a couple of days late - life happened. :) At the end of last month (the 26th) my boyfriend and I celebrated being together for 12 years, but as we haven't been together for a while, and he's back off tonight, we've been making the most of the time we had together. Including going for a snow walk. England had snow. So exciting. Well, for us it was. We like snow a lot, but it's gone now, and we've just realised how happy snow makes both of us. Now we just need to find somewhere with snow we might want to live.

February was also one of the best months I've had for writing so far, which is really good. I'm very happy about that. So far no luck with the bingo card, but it does help if I look at it occasionally. :D I've also been playing a lot of Stardew Valley while my boyfriend has been away. Anyone else play? My new plan is to set up twelve farms, marry everyone, and then be happy. I've also got a number of mods set up, to make certain characters look different (Shane is now wearing something not Joja and trousers, Alex's sprite matches Alex, and Harvey has no mustache).

Hey, everyone. How are you doing? I was going to post this up yesterday, but... well, I forgot by the end of the day. Sorry for that. I am here now though, and hoping you're all getting on well.

Work, for me, has been busy, which is good and bad. Normally I have no brain left by the end of the day, but recently I've been a little better with that, so I've actually been writing - for me. It's exciting. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with it, and might even get around to actually looking at the bingo card I made for myself... whenever it was I made it. Or not. :D

Sorry this has taken so long. It was my boyfriend's 30th at the weekend, so lots was happening. Now I'm finally back to normal life once more, and that means I can finally get the community cards up, which I promise won't take so long next time. :)

Mid Month Check In/Update Post

Hello, everyone. As mentioned before here's the mid month check in and update post. How are you doing? Has January been a good month for you so far?

Although this month hasn't been great (auspicious beginning to 2018) I have managed to get some world building work done, which is the first thing done for me in several months. I've also been going through some older stories, working out what needs changing, and also planning some new stories. This, for me, is a really good step. Of course now I actually need to follow through with the actual writing, but I'm hoping to have the time to do that from tomorrow onwards. Something I've always found complicated is working around my long term boyfriend, especially as we live together, and I've been really bad at taking time to do the things I want to be doing - like writing. He's got some stuff that needs doing away from our home for a little while, so I'm going to try to create a nice schedule for myself. I've always worked better than way. All I can do after that is hope that I can stick to it when he's home again.

One of the things I daydream about is having my own office. A space of my own, to have my books, and work stuff, and laptop... only that's not going to happen any time soon. I did have an office for a while, but it was a 40 minute walk away, so I found myself not using it, which made it a waste of the money I was spending on rent. For now I have my corner. It's better than nothing.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all had a good time over the Christmas period, whether or not you were celebrating, and you're ready for a new year.

I need to apologise for disappearing for the last couple of months of the year. Personal issues and illness caused unexpected problems, but I'm back now, and looking to make 2018 a good year for the community.

There are going to be a couple of changes I'm implementing, although not to the current rules. They are staying as they are. Instead I'm going to be posting again today, with the community bingo cards, for those of you who might need a little more inspiration, want a new card but not want the pressure of having on sitting there making you feel bad for not writing, or who simply feel like it would be easier to bingo off them. Secondly I'm planning on posting around the middle of the month to have a chat with you all - hopefully with a writing update of my very own. Last year wasn't great for writing, and the year before that wasn't much better. There is a chance things won't change this year, but I know that one of my biggest issues is putting too much pressure on myself to be doing everything, so I'm going to do my best not to do that again.

So, how have you all been? Do you have any writing goals for the new year? How are you feeling about the year to come? I'm looking forward to hearing from you, if you are still here.

It is November... and it's amnesty week

Hey, everyone. How have you been?

Work has been stupidly busy recently, which is definitely not something to complain about. At the same time it's been having a terrible effect on my urge to write for me... and that's something I don't see changing any time soon, unfortunately. I have all these things I want to get down on paper, but it's just not happening. Hopefully things will quieten down a bit in the not too distant future. Then I might be able to get back to writing. :)

This month, as I'm sure you all know, is also NaNo. I'm not going to be doing NaNao this year, unfortunately. I simply don't have the time to be able to pull it off, even though I really hoped I would, but if you are then best of luck - I believe in you.

As always please let me know if you want a new card (anyone who doesn't stipulate gets a gen card, so if you want something else then add that into your request, and post any stories you might have done for old cards that you're certain you won't be able to get a bingo on.

 Welcome to October, everyone. :) I hope you all had a good September. Like I seem to have been all the time recently I'm still working on getting back to writing for me, but then it isn't unusual for my job to drain most of the creativity from me long before I have a chance to even think about what it is I want to be doing. However we have some interesting new possible plans that have me a little more bouncy than I have been for a while, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed it's something that will work out, because I think it would to have something to aim for.

How have your writing plans been coming along? Is life treating you okay? Feel free to talk about anything in the comments.

 Well, that's another month gone, and we're into August now. How has your writing been going? I have to admit this has been a difficult month for me. First the other half was ill, with a lot of hope I wasn't going to pick it up, because I have a terrible immune system. Luckily I didn't - instead I had an ear infection (a very limited one) for the first time in my life. I hope it never happens again, because I've realised I truly hate not being able to hear properly.

August, I'm hoping, will be a better month. I have plans, but that doesn't mean they're going to work out. More often than not they don't, because life, but my fingers are very crossed, and they're crossed for all of you too - if you need it. Let me know in the comments what plans you have for August, if you need a new card, and how well you're doing with the old ones.

 It's that time again. Where, exactly, did June go? Last month seemed to rush by, but I'm hoping for a bit more time in July to actually do some writing that isn't for work. I've been really terrible for that recently. If you have too then let me know - it would be great to know I'm not the only one who's had plenty of ideas, but no will to actually work on them.

 Hello, everyone. How has your month been? Mine has been complicated, mostly due to work not being great, so I haven't been about too much. (I have been spending far too much time playing Stardew Valley, but that's another thing entirely.) Congratulations to those of you who achieved bingos, and for those of us who haven't (I'm including me in that) this is our chance to post any stories you may have written if you don't think you're going to be able to bingo with the card you have. If this is the case feel free to ask for a new card. If you don't want a new card please don't feel you have to ask for one. Do whatever you think is best for you. :)

As for me... well, I'll be honest. I've barely looked at my cards this month, because I was busy working on Camp NaNo, but this month I'm hoping to get at least one bingo. Preferably a smiley face one. Let me know what your plans are here, if you want, or carry on doing what you're doing. :)

 You've all made my first few days as mod here absolutely wonderful. I wasn't expecting anywhere near as many requests for bingo cards as I had, and I'm so excited to see what people come up with.

With that done here's a reminder that requests end tomorrow night. If you still want to request a card for this month then I'll be closing down the requests when I wake up on Saturday morning.

Then I have a chatter post planned for next week, just to keep things moving around here, as well as an Easter challenge. Keeping it busy here is important to me, so I hope I see a few of you at the chatter post.
