Welcome to September, everyone. :) Today is my birthday, and I'm really hoping for a good month of writing this month, as August definitely didn't work out a planned. How have you been getting on with your writing endeavours?

I'm having issues with both the blog and my horrible horrible rural internet so I'm skipping the card if no one minds.

I barely got this done (for good reasons, editing a story that will be out in a couple months) but it was fun. All of them ended up scenes in my paranormal romance novel These Haunted Hills. Here are some snippets.

B : Vehicle Joshua slowed the truck, bouncing them over a deeply rutted part of the ghost of a road.

I: grief She had suffered enough, and maybe she was right about moving on.

N: wild card - “So, Big Foot aside, tell me more about what we’re doing today.”

G: Birth - For a moment he was lost in the moment he’d brought Connor home.

I: reunion - “I should probably mention that if I die, there’s going to be a lot of sad people. I’ll miss the ZZZ reunion.” (Yeah I need to name his novel series' universe)
