Yay and welcome! First of all, thank EVERYONE for joining the comm! We've been tickled pink by the turnout, and we hope that everyone will have an awesome time writing and reading!

In the interest of tiding us over until the bingo cards are given out on the 1st, why don't we have a good, old-fashioned introduction post! Feel free to mix and mingle, introduce yourself and your writing, talk about the weather, ask questions, or anything else that comes to mind! :D

I'm Argent. Given my tendency to not write fanfiction, this will be my first bingo challenge.

Writing wise, I think I'm likely to take on one of three sets of characters. The first is a setting that was originally steampunk inspired but has veered away somewhat, with a main cast of six characters. I came up with this one for NaNo last year, but I haven't explored it or the stories of the main cast as much as I would like yet. The other two are more modern fantasy, with one involving vampires and the other involving psychics. The latter I've just come back to after several years, while the former I also developed in preparation for a NaNo (only to demote it to a short story). On the other hand, I might be inspired to write in a new setting, as I have tendencies to do that. Either way, I'll tend toward the fantasy end of speculative fiction.
