Hello everyone! Oh man, you are all so awesome. Thank you so much for making this little challenge a huge success!

Just using the tags, we can say that between the LJ and DW comms, you all have posted at least 537 fics this year. That is just done by counting all "bingo" tags as at least 5 and all "amnesty" tags as at least 1, and we know that those are lowest-end estimates. Srsly, I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least a hundred more than that.

Wow. Seriously. WOW.

Give yourselves and each other a huge round of applause. Go ahead, we'll wait!

So, what now, you ask? Well! As we discussed last month, we will be taking a little break from card-giving during most of October. Feel free to keep posting bingos and amnesties and whatnot, but we will not be giving out new cards until October 28.

We will be using the time off to revamp the prompt list, add more prompts, and drop some ones that didn't appear to be popular (the kink prompts are exempted from this). If you've got more suggestions for prompts, please let us know either in the comments or on the DW poll over here.

On October 28, we will start the second round of Origfic Bingo! Starting then, we'll open the card request post for the official beginning of the second posting round on Nov 1. We're giving out cards a little early so that anyone who wants to use them for NaNoWriMo will have a bit of time to plan their attack. We anticipate the same general structure and rules as last time, as everything seems to have worked well last year.

Once again, congratulations EVERYONE. This challenge is for you and your muses, and even if you wrote one fic all year, we're happy to be a part of it! :D
