The following poem belongs to my series The Steamsmith. It features a black, female, British alchemical engineer named Maryam Smith. This steampunk series deals in themes of science, socioeconomics, racism, sexism, genderbending, duty, and innovation.

The following poems belong to my series One God's Story of Mid-Life Crisis. Shaeth abdicates his position as God of Evil and becomes the God of Drunks. This series is fantasy dealing with themes of morality, personal growth, addiction and recovery, family of choice, and slightly warped humor.

I've recently finished my summer writing for the Llewellyn annuals. So I'm posting stuff I didn't have time to claim earlier, and I've got more writing time too.

The crowdfunding Creative Jam is running this weekend. I've already posted my freebie for the session, based on a LiveJournal prompt, that fills a square from my latest card.
