BINGO: row
I'm posting fills for my 8-13-13 card. I've been using fests as a way of generating extra prompts for my Poetry Fishbowl and other crowdfunding projects, so the sponsored ones and some free perks have been posted while other stuff is still available for sponsorship. Want to see something that isn't posted yet? Many of my fills belong to series, so their prices will be listed under the relevant series on my Serial Poetry page. For stand-alone pieces you can ask in a comment.
Row 4 Prompts (five poems): wooing/courtship, underdog, starting over, sweet nothings, truth.
Title: "Maneki Neko and Her Suitors"
Series: Stand-alone
Prompt: wooing/courtship
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Notes: Several suitors pursue the same maiden.
The following poem belongs to my series The Steamsmith. It features a black, female, British alchemical engineer named Maryam Smith. This steampunk series deals in themes of science, socioeconomics, racism, sexism, genderbending, duty, and innovation.
Title: "The Trains Must Run on Time"
Series: The Steamsmith
Prompt: Underdog
Rating: PG
Warnings: Discrimination.
Notes: Maryam helps Rori's cousin find a job.
The following poems belong to my series One God's Story of Mid-Life Crisis. Shaeth abdicates his position as God of Evil and becomes the God of Drunks. This series is fantasy dealing with themes of morality, personal growth, addiction and recovery, family of choice, and slightly warped humor.
Title: "Jump Lines"
Series: One God's Story of Mid-Life Crisis
Prompt: Starting over
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Notes: Eshne makes glass candles for Shaeth's temple.
The following poem belongs to the shared world of Torn World. This is science fantasy in a setting where temporal technology has had severe negative impacts. There are two main cultures, the snow-unicorn riders in the north and the Empire in the south.
Title: "Sweeter Than Sweet Reed"
Series: Torn World
Prompt: Sweet nothings
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Notes: Love is sweeter than sugar.
Title: "Passing Fancy"
Series: Stand-alone

Warnings: Oppression
Notes: Fancy does what she must to get by.
For those of you who saw my earlier post for Row 2, "The Negotiation of Refuge" has now been sponsored and posted.
